On 13 April 2026, at the age of 73, Enya's sister, Moya Brennan, disappeared in her native land, Gaoth Dobhair.
On 15 April 2026, Aigle Music was dissolved.
The Aigle Music Company Limited was officially founded 28 September 1981 in Ireland with registration number 85184.
Founded by Nicky Ryan together with the wife Rome Ryan, the label and production house was born shortly after Nicky had finished his collaboration as manager with the Clannads. The name "Aigle" (which in French means "aquila") is closely linked to the artistic path of Enya, who joined Ryan shortly after the foundation of the company to begin his legendary solo career.
The study was the place where Enya recorded most of his music, and became one of the symbols of his artistic career. Aigle Music was also closely linked to the production and management of its repertoire.

1. The link with Artane (The origins)
The origins of Enya's "professional family" (composed by her, producer Nicky Ryan and paroliera Roma Ryan) actually reside in Artane, a suburb north of Dublin. While Bath Place was the administrative and fiscal address (often associated with consulting studies or representative offices), the actual creative activity took place historically in Killiney's private studio.
Enya's latest official album, Dark Sky Island, was released on November 20, 2015. Since then no new studio album has been released. In April 2026, about 10 years and 5 months have passed since its publication.
