This year, for New Year, I had the desire of the sea. There are some cats and kittens here (about eight in all) who welcomed us as soon as we arrived. They are mostly black kittens with sweet eyes; someone who suffers because they are impervious to an annoying illness. They have a very sweet look of those who for the first time, explore the world. Their presence warms me. They often linger in front of the window of the large terrace: They're stray cats, and you can tell right away that they're hungry from how they eat the croquettes and some of the meat we gave them. It is also understood how water is scarce and how, a bowl filled with that transparent liquid to drink, is well appreciated.
Here at the sea I am walking more than at home. Finally the room in which I am always locked has the color of other walls and the window gives to the sea; on the deserted beach now wrapped by some algae. There is almost no one in the country. The only open place is a bar where the most customers inside, at this time is three people, but the coffee is good: served in a hot cup.
Here the Internet connection is scarce, i.e. I use the GB included in my mobile plan and, thus, the use of the PC becomes much lower: Almost nothing. I dedicate time to some walks, sometimes to a rest or I find myself crawling on the terrace looking for contact and affection with these wonderful beings with sweet and curious eyes.
Life, for a moment, seems more natural. New Year's Eve at the beach.
