When something around us threatens us, the only power we have is within us.
At the moment of the threat it is normal to feel feelings that do not make us feel good.

With experience we can learn to reduce that discomfort, although we will hardly be able to cancel it altogether. However, reducing it is useful: It allows us to shorten the times of suffering and to return to seek within ourselves a point of peace and love for ourselves, even when more people attack us from the outside trying to make us feel monsters or even wrong 🌴

It is by hand from within, perhaps imagining ourselves in a place that makes us feel good, that we can find the concentration lost due to the thoughts that return to those attacks.

We can't change others, but we can take care of who we are. 💖
