If you're not careful, they'll turn you off!
The dishonest man exploits the demand to satisfy a need in order to enrich himself much more than he should, in particular, create harm to the claimant. A dishonest price or duplicated if not tripled by the normal job that would still bring a gain!
All this goes against the principle of transparency, trust, passion and reliability. Dishonest is the opposite of honest, the opposite!
This story, without offending and attacking anyone, I want to tell it (in a generic and anonymous way) because it can only make me reflect having experienced it in first person and because I think it is precious to store in my diary of life!
There are two different areas in which I have sought solutions to two different problems I had. The first sector is the automotive sector, where I will soon have the need to cut my car; the second sector is medical and in particular where I have to book a check-up that I carry out annually.
In the first sector I’m asking for several quotes that have proved to be twice as expensive as the previous year in which however I didn’t spend at all considering that my car is this year two years! There is a case of quote that I find striking!
I call the large workshop chosen for a quote and nobody answers the phone, an automatic answering machine invites me to leave a message. Then I get a call from a short fixed number, I answer and it was their call! I am asked if my car had been bought by them and if I had already done coupons with them and my answer is no in both cases. Shortly after these questions, I am informed of a price that I found astronomical and that left me speechless, over 500 euros for a coupon of a car per second year with less than 3000 KM.
I remain based on the answer and the quote so fast and telephone but thinking well "scripta manent, verba volant" or the writing remains as the verb spoken flies and remains more difficult to prove in case of contestation; Thank you and hang up. Shortly afterwards I try to call that number to ask for a written quote but, the number is nonexistent. I thought that the price I received was a strategy to get rid of having the coupon made by them. Maybe they have too much work or maybe they prefer to do the work only to those who are already customers! All this is obviously my personal opinion, you don't want to accuse anyone, for God's sake! They are feelings that you feel in your stomach and calculate that you also do according to your experience, feeling and even evaluating more bells.
In the second sector I happen to ask a medical facility to check with a doctor who already has me; I do a periodic check every year but I have never done so at this facility. I am offered a price that is about three times higher than what I should bear and which I have always supported! Once again I express my opinion on my experiences!
In conclusion, I think that as soon as you have a need in this modern world increasingly attached to money and god money, there are those who are ready to gather you with open arms and then fall into a void where you find yourself alone and emptied. Fortunately they are not all so but, it seems necessary to be very careful!
